Time for Carers

Packed with details about breaks and activities, as well as useful information and factsheets about finding and taking breaks, this website is for all family carers aged over 18 who care for someone living in Suffolk.

You're known as a family carer if your life is restricted because of the care you provide for someone else - whether that's a relative, friend or neighbour. You don't have to live with the person you care for and they may need your help because of illness, age related frailty, a mental health need or a disability. They would be unable to manage without the care you provide. Many people do not think of themselves as carers.

If you are caring for a child aged under 18 with additional needs you can also search for breaks and activities on the Activities Unlimited website.

If you are a family carer under 18 years you’ll find lots of information and support on the Suffolk Young Carers Website.

If you'd like to include a break or activity on this website find out how here.
